Leaked before the introduction of french heavy tanks, the AMX 50, also known as the AMX M4 1949 is an M103 style turret mounted on the chassis of the AMX 50 120. It was rumored to have the same auto-loader as the AMX 50 120 but with a much stronger turret face and mantlet.
